Audio challenge for the December episode
RoguePoet says Hey Tim, I mentioned your writeup we again at the end of the first episode of my new audio project: Nodeslam.
RoguePoet says My idea is to get a bunch of people to read it, make an audio collage out of the resulting audio, and release the whole thing under Creative Commons as part of the next episode. Is that something you’d be okay with?
e2reneta says Re we. Awesome. Go for it! (I’d be interested in reading, too, if you need another voice).
Woo! Folks, here’s a repeat of my audio challenge for next month:
1. Read the E2 writeup we by e2reneta.
2. Record yourself reading all or part of it. (If you don’t have audio recording software, try Audacity. It’s free.) My one guideline: Please do your best to avoid background noise and don’t mix in any music. I’m going to be layering your audio together with other submissions so the cleaner the better.
3. Export your recording to your choice of audio format: mp3, wav, ogg, or flac.
4. If you have your own webspace, upload your file there. If you don’t, go to Mediafire.com and follow their directions to create a free account and upload your audio file.
5. Send a /msg to RoguePoet on E2 with a link to your audio file, or email your link roguepoet@nodeslam.com.
If you get your recording to me by December 1st, I’ll download your audio & mix it in to the first (real) episode of Nodeslam, which I’ll be releasing around the first week of December. Thanks! You rock!
